Household Operating System to Capture Everything a Home Owns, Owes, Renews and Needs to Remember

New digital home management platform brings household records, belongings, property, vehicles, pets, documents, warranties, reminders, trusted professionals and family responsibilities together in one private place.

JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA — August 2026 — Axario Home, a new household operating system designed to bring the practical information and responsibilities of running a home into one private place, has officially launched.

From property documents and insurance policies to receipts, warranties, vehicle licences, pet records, maintenance history and trusted contractors, Axario Home gives households one organised place to keep track of everything they own, owe, renew and remember.

The platform is designed around a simple idea: a home generates an enormous amount of information, but that information is usually scattered across email inboxes, filing cabinets, phone galleries, messaging apps, spreadsheets and memory.

Axario Home brings it together — and connects it.

"Managing a home has become an information-management challenge," said the Axario team. "People know where some of their information is, but rarely where all of it is. Axario Home is designed to become the household's memory — a private place where records are connected, important dates are remembered and the information you need can be found when you need it."

A household operating system, not just a document store

Axario Home goes beyond storing household documents.

Users can organise properties, vehicles, pets, household belongings, purchases and receipts, documents, insurance policies, reminders, trusted professionals, home projects, people and household information within a single connected household.

A purchase can be linked to the item it belongs to. A warranty can be connected to the purchase. A document can be attached to a vehicle or property. A reminder can be connected to the thing it relates to. A professional can be linked to the property, vehicle or appliance they worked on.

This creates a connected record of the household rather than a collection of disconnected files.

Each household also builds a timeline of what has happened, from purchases and maintenance to projects, documents and reminders.

The result is a digital household memory that can answer not only "Where did I save that?" but also "What do I know about this?"

Ask Axario: AI that knows your household

One of Axario Home's key features is Ask Axario, an AI-powered household assistant that allows users to ask questions in plain language about their own records.

Users can ask questions such as:

  • When does my car licence expire, and what did the last service cost?
  • Who fixed the geyser, and is the work still under guarantee?
  • What is still under warranty in the kitchen?
  • Which reminders are coming up for the dog?

Rather than searching the public internet, Ask Axario uses the user's own connected household records, including purchases, documents, maintenance history, professionals, reminders and relationships between records.

This means the AI is designed to help people make sense of information they have already captured about their own home.

Remember the things that would otherwise get lost

Axario Home also introduces Remember, a lightweight way to capture the small pieces of information that are easy to lose.

A user can photograph a vet appointment card, scan a code on a label, capture a warranty slip, photograph instructions or quickly record a note so they don't forget how to descale that coffee machine again.

Axario can read useful information from the capture, such as dates, names, reference numbers and instructions, and users can optionally ask it to remind them about something later.

The information is then saved, searchable and connected to the household record from which it was captured.

It is designed for the everyday details that rarely justify creating a formal document, but that can become important later.

Built for the people who help run your home

Households do not run themselves — and often the person responsible for something is not the person who owns the information.

Axario Home therefore includes saved instructions and handovers that can be written once, reused and shared when someone else needs to look after part of the household.

Users can create instructions for:

  • Pet sitting
  • House sitting
  • House guests
  • Cleaning services
  • Garden services
  • Property and pool care
  • Vehicle borrowing
  • Babysitting and childcare
  • Au pair and school handovers
  • Grandparent care
  • Holiday care
  • Family member care

Family and childcare handovers can include simple time-by-time schedules, while instructions can be shared directly to WhatsApp as a clean, readable message.

The feature is designed around a common household situation: "Here is everything you need to know while I'm away."

From everyday organisation to insurance and emergencies

Axario Home is also designed to help households prepare for the moments when accurate records matter most.

Users can build an inventory of household belongings, capturing details such as photographs, purchase dates, values, serial numbers, locations, documents and warranties.

Purchases and receipts can be scanned and linked to the relevant belongings, while insurance policies can be connected to the items they cover.

When something goes wrong, users can generate an insurance claim report containing a cover page, schedule of loss and photo or receipt evidence based on records already stored in Axario Home.

The platform can also produce insurance summaries, moving inventories, printable household information and data exports.

The aim is to make it easier to answer questions such as:

What did we own? What did it cost? When did we buy it? Is it insured? Is it still under warranty? Where is the proof?

Manage the home, not just the paperwork

Axario Home also captures the information that makes a property work.

The property information area allows households to record details about:

  • Rooms and home systems
  • Roofs and geysers
  • Electrical information
  • Water and utilities
  • Fibre and municipal services
  • Irrigation and pools
  • Outdoor equipment
  • Boundary walls
  • Alarms and security systems
  • Gates, cameras and emergency information

Users can also maintain home projects, maintenance histories and relationships with the professionals who carry out work.

Property records can include indicative information about flood, wildfire, storm and wind, earthquake and drought or water-stress exposure, using publicly available hazard datasets.

These risk indicators are intended as household guidance rather than professional insurance or engineering assessments.

Designed for households, not spreadsheets

Axario Home is designed for homeowners, tenants, families and anyone who wants a simpler way to manage household administration.

Multiple people can share a household with controlled roles, including Owner, Admin, Member and View Only access.

The platform is mobile-first and can be installed directly on a phone, tablet or desktop as a Progressive Web App, without requiring an app-store download.

A free trial starts without requiring a credit card.

Axario Home is available in South Africa, the United Kingdom and internationally, with regional pricing and payment options.

Privacy is built around the household

Because household information can be highly personal, Axario Home treats the household as a defined data boundary.

Household records, files, photographs, scans and audio are scoped to the household and accessible only to invited members according to their assigned role.

Users can export their household data at any time.

Axario Home is deliberately not a password manager and does not ask users to store passwords, PINs or access codes. Its reference and import safeguards are designed to prevent sensitive secrets from being captured as ordinary household information.

A different way to think about home management

For years, managing a home has meant adapting tools designed for something else: folders for documents, spreadsheets for inventories, calendar apps for reminders, messaging apps for handovers, photo galleries for receipts and memory for everything in between.

Axario Home brings those jobs together.

It is designed to help a household capture information, connect it, remember it, share it and find it again.

The vision is not to create another system that households have to manage.

It is to create the system that helps manage the household.
