These Terms govern your use of Axario Home, operated by Praxis Marketing Consultancy, trading as Axario (Registration Number 2025/558202/07) ("Axario", "we", "us").
Axario Business (our commercial asset, maintenance and compliance platform) is governed by a separate agreement — see the Axario Business Terms of Service, and refunds for Axario Business are covered by the Axario Business Refund Policy.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Axario Home, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Service Description
Axario Home is a subscription-based household management platform that helps you organise and manage information relating to your home and personal life, including:
- Documents, receipts and warranties
- Purchases, belongings and inventories
- Properties, vehicles and pets
- Service providers and contacts
- Reminders, schedules and notes
Axario Home is a software tool for personal organisation only. It does not provide legal, financial, insurance, engineering or other professional advice.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate, current and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- Accounts are for personal and household use, and may be shared with members of your household as permitted in the product.
4. Free Trial
Axario Home currently offers a 14-day free trial with full access to the service. No payment card is required to start the trial. You may cancel at any time during the trial without being charged. If you do not subscribe, access to paid features ends when the trial period expires.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
- Axario Home is offered on a monthly or annual subscription basis.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- Subscription pricing is displayed at checkout before you confirm your purchase.
- International payments are processed through Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for those transactions.
- South African payments are processed through the applicable local payment provider shown at checkout.
- Prices may be exclusive or inclusive of VAT, sales tax or similar charges depending on your location; any applicable taxes or charges will be shown or added at checkout.
- We may change subscription pricing from time to time. Price changes apply to future billing periods and we will give reasonable notice before they take effect.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless stated otherwise, you keep access to paid features until the end of your current subscription or trial period.
7. Refunds
Refunds are governed by the separate Axario Home Refund Policy. Where these Terms and the Refund Policy address the same subject, the Refund Policy applies to refund eligibility and process.
8. Your Content and Data
"Your Content" means the documents, photos, notes, records and other information you upload to or store in Axario Home.
- You retain ownership of Your Content.
- You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, transmit and display Your Content solely to operate, secure, support and improve the service for you.
- We do not sell Your Content.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not infringe the rights of others.
- You may export or delete Your Content as provided in the product. After account closure, content may be deleted in accordance with our retention practices.
9. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and our POPIA Notice.
10. Acceptable Use
You may not:
- Use Axario Home for unlawful purposes or to store unlawful content
- Attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the service
- Access accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to access
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the service
- Resell, sublicense or provide commercial access to the service without our consent
- Upload malware or content that infringes the rights of others
11. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable, secure service, but we cannot guarantee that Axario Home will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free. Availability may be affected by maintenance, updates or events outside our reasonable control.
12. Intellectual Property
The Axario Home software, branding, names, logos, design, content and underlying technology are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the service to you, and nothing transfers ownership of Your Content to us.
13. Disclaimers and Liability
Except as expressly stated and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of data arising from your own deletion or misuse, or losses resulting from reliance on reminders, records or outputs that depend on the information you enter.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account where you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, misuse the service, use it unlawfully, or where required by law. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may close your account at any time.
15. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may update Axario Home and these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice by email or in the product. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction. Where you use Axario Home from another jurisdiction, local mandatory consumer laws may also apply.
